Smiling Elf Holding a Candy Cane with Bow

A cheerful elf stands facing forward with a big smile, holding a large candy cane with a bow tied on the curved top. The elf wears a floppy pointed hat that flops to one side, a jagged zigzag collar, and a tunic with a zigzag hem. Big mittens grip the candy cane, and the legs show horizontal striped stockings. The curled-toe boots have round pom-poms on top. Small pointed ears peek out beside the face, and a few curls of hair show under the hat. The wide, clean outlines make this printable page easy for younger kids to color. Try alternating two bright colors on the candy cane stripes and the stockings, then ask your child to pick a different color for the bow so it stands out. It also works well for talking about patterns and repeating stripes.
