Giraffe with Heart Spots, Romero Britto Style Coloring Page
Coloring guide
Standing tall in the middle of the page, this giraffe looks out with big sparkly eyes and a gentle smile. Its long neck and body are covered in diamond shapes with a few hearts mixed in, so you can use lots of different shades. A bright sun with rays sits in the top corner, four fluffy clouds fill the sky, and big flowers with wide leaves stand on both sides, with little grass tufts at its feet. The giraffe's tufted tail swishes out to the right. Every diamond and heart is a small space for a new color, so this free printable PDF is great for kids who love patterns. Warm orange and yellow can alternate in the diamonds, with pink or red hearts so they stand out from the rest of the spots. Love this Romero Britto style coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the clouds, the sun's background hills and the sky-blue areas in the background with sky blue.
- 2Fill the giraffe's head, body, neck and legs with sunny yellow, and color the sun center the same way.
- 3Color the heart spots with tomato red and the diamond patches with burnt orange, then add chocolate brown to the horns, hooves, tail tuft and mane.
- 4Paint the flower petals in violet purple and coral pink, the leaves in leaf green, and the grass tufts in grass green.
- 5Keep the flower stems, the gaps between the legs and the background white so the colors pop.
- 6Optional: add a few warm amber touches on the giraffe's neck for a little extra shading.
