Ever After High Girl Hugging a Giant Apple
Coloring guide
A happy little girl with wavy shoulder-length hair stands in front of a picket fence and squeezes a big apple, complete with stem and leaf, against her tummy. She has a large bow on a headband, puffy sleeves with ruffled cuffs and a tiered scalloped dress, while small rounded shoes peek out at the hem. Her eyes are wide and sparkly and her smile is open and sweet. Outline stars and four-point sparkles drift in the sky, two flowers on leafy stems stand on either side of the fence, and little grass tufts sit by her feet. Bold lines and roomy shapes are a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids with chunky markers or crayons. A red apple with a green leaf looks nice, and a soft pink or sky blue dress will help the fruit stand out. Print it at home for an easy afternoon activity. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the dress tiers and both puffy sleeves sky blue, leaving the sleeve cuffs and collar white.
- 2Fill the apple with apple red, leaving a small white shine on its left side, then color the face and both hands peach.
- 3Color the hair caramel brown, and the headband, the stars and the sparkles golden yellow.
- 4Paint the bow apple red, the apple leaf and the grass and leaves leaf green, and the flower petals lavender purple.
- 5Color the fence posts and rails pale cream, keep the gaps behind them white, and add soft pink to the open mouth and apple red to the shoes with white shoe highlights.
- 6Optional tip: add a little darker shading on the lower dress tiers and under the hair for extra depth.
