Freckled Volleyball Player Reaching Up Behind the Net

A freckled girl with long wavy hair reaches one arm high toward a volleyball floating above her, grinning as she gets ready to hit it. She stands behind a big grid-patterned net that stretches across the bottom of the page, and a large sun with pointed rays shines in the top right corner. She wears a top with straps and round buttons, and a bit of her hand and shoes can be seen through the net squares. The ball has curved panel lines that are fun to fill in. Try coloring the ball in two or three bright colors, then use warm yellows and oranges for the sun. This free page also works well for talking about teamwork and outdoor games with kids who love summer sports.
