Smiling Goblin Shark With Long Pointed Snout

Coloring guide
A cartoon shark curves across the page in a big C shape, with its long flat snout stretched out to the right and its mouth open in a friendly grin. Rows of sharp, pointy teeth show inside, and one round eye with a little eyelash looks out from the side of the head. Behind the eye you can see a few curved gill lines. The shark has a large dorsal fin on top, pectoral and pelvic fins along the body, a small anal fin, and a tail that sweeps down to the bottom left corner. The fins have jagged edges, which makes them fun to color in. Try shading the body in soft pinks and grays, since goblin sharks are known for a pale pinkish look, then use a darker color for the fins. It also works well as a starting point for talking about how sharks use their snouts and teeth. Print as many copies as you need for a classroom ocean unit.
