Grinning Ice Cream Truck with Giant Cone on Roof
Coloring guide
The star of this page is a friendly ice cream truck with a big face on its windshield: wide eyes, rosy cheeks and an open smiling mouth. A giant cone covered in sprinkles sits on the roof. Under a striped, scalloped awning is the serving window, where three cones stand on the counter beside a stack of cups and a holder of straws. The truck drives down a road marked with dashed lines, with grass tufts in the corners. Behind it are a leafy tree, a few puffy clouds, some bushes and a smiling sun with rays all around. Pink and white stripes would look good on the awning, and the giant scoop could be chocolate brown with rainbow sprinkles. It's a free printable, so print a few spare copies. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky blue areas: color the windshield and both clouds, then fill the sidewalk and road with light gray and medium gray.
- 2Color the truck body with turquoise on the lower sides and front, leaving the upper body panels and the front bumper white.
- 3Fill the tree and bushes with grass green, and color the trunk caramel brown. Make the sun golden yellow, leaving the face details for last.
- 4Color the giant ice cream with soft pink on the scoop and caramel brown on the waffle cone. Add rose pink to the roof strip and the awning stripes, leaving some stripes white.
- 5Add the cream serving window, warm tan counter, and colorful cones and cups in chocolate brown, denim blue, and soft pink. Keep the eye whites, mouth area, and wheel centers white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading under the truck and along the wheels with charcoal gray to make the drawing pop.
