Pedaling along a winding path, this little mummy in striped bandages looks like he's having the time of his life. His big round eyes and open smile say it all, and one long loose strip of bandage streams out behind his head as if the wind is blowing. Both hands grip the handlebars and his feet rest on the pedals. Around the bike you'll find rolling hills, puffy clouds, tufts of grass, small pebbles and a few daisy-like flowers on both sides of the path. The wide bandage stripes and spoked wheels are easy to follow, so the page suits a range of ages. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the mummy's bandages: fill the head, arms, body and legs with bandage cream, leaving the eye whites untouched.
- 2Color the scarf ribbons flying behind the mummy in the same bandage cream.
- 3Fill the sky clouds with light sky blue and the hills and bushes with grass green and forest green.
- 4Paint the bicycle frame, handlebar and fork bright blue, and the seat bright red.
- 5Color the tires charcoal gray, the wheel rims light gray and the wheel spokes grass green, then add the pink tongue.
- 6Optional: add a little shade on the bandages with a slightly darker cream or light gray for depth.
