Patterned Cat on a Striped Cushion in Romero Britto Style
Coloring guide
This happy cat sits upright on a round striped cushion with its front paws together and its striped tail curled up behind. It has big sparkly eyes and an open smile, and three hearts float around its head and body. The coat is divided into pattern sections: polka dots on the forehead, stars on one side, zigzag chevrons down the chest and big circles on the other side. Because each area is separate, kids can choose a fresh color for every one. Bright blue and orange work well for the zigzags, yellow for the stars, and pink or purple for the circles. This free page prints with room to spare, so you might want a few extra copies on hand. Add this to your Romero Britto style coloring page collection, alongside Mandala and Kawaii.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the cushion: color the middle and right bands baby pink, the outer edges hot pink, and the left side rose pink.
- 2Fill the left side of the body, shoulder and front leg with bright blue, leaving the star shapes empty for now.
- 3Color the right side of the body and leg purple, then add rose pink polka dots across the leg.
- 4Fill the chest and forehead patch with cream, then add the zigzag chevrons in sky blue and yellow, and yellow dots on the forehead.
- 5Color the tail with orange and yellow stripes, fill the stars yellow, and add red hearts, rose pink inner ears, a baby pink mouth and a hot pink nose.
- 6Optional: Leave the big eyes white so they keep their shine, and add a little darker shading along the edges of the cushion.
