A cheerful little princess stands front and center, with a wide smile and big sparkly eyes. Her tall crown is topped with round pearl-like balls, and her long wavy hair flows past her shoulders. She holds a magic wand with a star on the end in one raised hand, and her other arm hangs loosely at her side. The ball gown has puffy short sleeves, a heart-shaped neckline, a belt with a round jewel in the middle and a big skirt with simple curved panels. Five small stars float around her on the white background, so nothing busy gets in the way. Large open spaces in the dress and hair are easy for small hands. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the face, neck, both arms, hands and ears in soft peach, leaving the eye whites, the smile and the tiny eye shines white.
- 2Fill the long wavy hair on both sides and behind the arm, plus the wand star and all five stars, with golden yellow.
- 3Color the crown body golden yellow, make its round pearls hot pink, and fill the center gem with raspberry pink.
- 4Color the bodice, the dark center panel of the gown and the wand handle in hot pink and soft peach as shown, then fill the belt gem with raspberry pink and leave the belt band white.
- 5Fill the puffed sleeves and the two outer panels of the gown with baby pink, leaving the background white.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of a darker shade along the edges of the gown and hair to make the colors look more dimensional.
