Pug Pup Close-Up with a Lightning Bolt Collar

A close-up of a happy pug puppy looking straight ahead with a big open smile. The dog has large round eyes with small shiny highlights, a wide nose, and little whisker dots on each cheek. Inside the mouth you can see a tongue and a few small teeth. Two floppy ears fold down on either side of the head, and a collar with a zigzag lightning bolt shape sits around the neck. The shoulders are only lightly sketched at the bottom. The big open areas on the face are easy for younger kids to fill in. Try a warm tan for the fur and a darker shade for the muzzle, then pick a bright color for the collar so the lightning bolt stands out. This free printable also works well for talking about shapes, since the eyes, nose, and ears are all simple to name.
