Smiling Puppy Sitting on a Patch of Grass
Coloring guide
A happy puppy sits facing forward with its head tilted slightly, showing a wide smile, round eyes, and a big oval nose with a small shine spot. Two floppy ears hang down on either side of its face, and a little tuft of hair sticks up on top of the head. A band or collar wraps around the neck. The puppy's curved tail has a striped section near the tip and curls up behind its body. Its three round paws, each with toe lines, rest on a small tuft of grass with jagged edges. The lines are thick and clean, so this page works well for younger kids with chunky crayons or markers. Try coloring the tail stripe and the collar in two bright contrasting colors, then talk about which parts of the puppy are the same color and which are different. This free printable is a good quiet-time activity at home or in class.
