Rainbow Dash Windswept Mane, Cutie Mark Crew (MLP)
Coloring guide
With a big round head and sparkly eyes, this cheerful little pegasus looks like Rainbow Dash in chibi Cutie Mark Crew style. Her open-mouthed smile is sweet, and the long lashes and shiny pupils give kids small details to color. A long swoopy fringe crosses her forehead, and streaky mane strands blow out behind her head. One small wing is tucked at her side, a little cutie mark sits on her flank, and her flowing tail curls at the lower left. No background keeps it simple for younger kids, and it works well as a free printable. For the classic look, go with sky blue on her body and red, orange, yellow, green and purple stripes in the mane and tail. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big body areas: color the head, body and hind leg light sky blue, leaving the eye shine dots white.
- 2Fill the front mane with tangerine orange, then add the yellow streak of lemon yellow along the front of the mane.
- 3Color the top mane strands and the top mane tuft bright red, and fill the tail top with bright red, the middle of the tail with tangerine orange, and the lower tail strands with lemon yellow.
- 4Color the wing feathers: the top feather leaf green, the next feather bright blue, the middle feather plum, and the lower feathers royal purple and plum.
- 5Fill the front leg and the cutie mark area with turquoise, then color the tongue soft pink and the eyes plum, keeping the small white shine spots.
- 6Optional: add light strokes of a darker shade of each color on the body and wings for a bit of depth.
