Smiling Santa Face With Fluffy Beard and Hat

A close-up of Santa's face fills the page, drawn in clean black outlines. He wears a tall floppy hat with a wide band around the bottom and a round pom-pom at the tip, which is drawn with short lines sticking out like a fuzzy ball. Under the hat, his eyebrows are big and curly, and his sleepy eyes look out over two large round cheeks. In the middle sits a big oval nose, with a wavy mustache right below it. The long beard spreads out underneath with jagged, pointed edges along the sides and bottom. The shapes are large and simple, so it works well for younger kids who are still building control with crayons. Try using soft grays or white pencil shading on the beard and mustache, then color the cheeks a warm pink to give his face some life. You can print as many copies as you need for a class card project.
