In the bottom left is a cluster of pumpkins with leafy vines, while a third crow stands on the ground at the right. Autumn leaves drift through the sky above rolling hills, bushes and a wooden fence. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the scarecrow's overalls, both crows' bodies and the bottom right crow in royal blue, leaving the eye spots and beak tips for later.
- 2Color the scarecrow's face light tan, then fill the straw hair and hat top in brown, and add the hat band in bright red.
- 3Fill the plaid shirt sleeves and the collar with rust red and bright red, then color the straw cuffs and the crow beaks in golden yellow.
- 4Color the pumpkins in bright orange, the leaves and the fence in grass green and brown, and the ground grass in lime green, leaving the background sky white.
- 5Add the patches: the chest patch in bright orange, the knee patches in golden yellow and grass green, and the overall buttons in royal blue.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade along one side of each pumpkin and the overalls to give them a little more depth.
