Scooter Delivering Presents on a Ricky Zoom Shop Street
Coloring guide
This cartoon scooter has big eyes and a wide smile, and he rolls right toward you with a woven basket holding three wrapped gift boxes tied with bows. Round mirrors stick out from the handlebars, and a circular headlight sits above his face. The street behind him runs between two shops with scalloped, striped awnings, big windows and potted plants by the doors. One window shows a stack of round items on a shelf, and a tree and puffy clouds fill the sky. Younger children will like the big shapes, and older kids can take on the checkered basket and the awning stripes. Red or teal suits the scooter, and each present can get its own color. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the scooter body and the front seat area: fill the big red shapes with bright red, leaving the eye whites, the cloud and the window highlights white.
- 2Color the cream front apron and the lower body panels of the scooter with cream, and the seat with charcoal gray.
- 3Fill the wheel tires with charcoal gray and the hubs with light gray, then add the mirrors and handlebar grips in the same colors.
- 4Color the basket weave with caramel brown, and the gift boxes with sky blue, light blue, golden yellow ribbons and lavender purple accents.
- 5Add the buildings and shop details: soft yellow and peach orange walls, leaf green plants and tree, pale blue shop windows, and dark brown door and crate.
- 6Optional: Add light shading along the edges of the red body and the caramel basket with a slightly darker tone of the same color for depth.
