A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky and clouds: fill the two clouds and the sky area with pale blue, leaving the open sky background white.
- 2Color the grass hills and bushes with grass green and the lighter patches with lime green, then fill the dirt path with sandy tan.
- 3Fill the tractor body, hood, cabin roof and front panels with bright blue, then color the tire areas charcoal gray.
- 4Color the hay bales with golden yellow, and the fence rails, posts and trailer boards with warm brown.
- 5Add the boy's face in peach skin, his cap and shirt in red, and the cabin windows in pale blue.
- 6Finish with details: dark gray for the grille, seat and exhaust pipe, golden yellow for the wheel hubs, and black for the headlight. Optional: add a few darker strokes on the tires for depth.
