Lasso Twirling Troll in Plaid With Giant Swooping Hair

A cheerful troll with huge, swooping hair swings a long rope lasso high over its head. The rope ends in a knot and a big open loop that curls across the top of the page. The troll wears a plaid shirt and a round belt buckle with a star on it. A tiny cowboy hat with a little star badge sits on top of the hair. One hand grips the rope and the other rests on its chest. It has long eyelashes, a rounded nose, a wide grin, a round belly and small hooves, with long wavy locks falling down the back. Try a plaid pattern on the shirt with two or three markers, then use soft pastel crayons for the layered hair so each curl stands out. Kids can also practice following the twisted rope line with a steady hand. It's a free page that works well for a western theme day.
