A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background: color the house walls lemon yellow, the roof and chimney cap dark slate gray, and the chimney brick red.
- 2Color the tree, hedges, bushes and grass with bright green, and the tree trunk with chestnut brown. Leave the fence and the background beside the house white.
- 3Fill the zombie's shirt and pants with sage green, and color the sidewalks light gray. Keep a few small gaps so the clothes look tattered.
- 4Add pumpkin orange to the jack-o'-lantern bucket and its handle, and use light peach on the face and hands. Leave the teeth and eye whites white.
- 5Use lavender purple and olive gold for the ragged patches on the shirt and pants, brick red for the front door, and steel blue for the sneakers. Leave the shoe soles white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the shirt and the house roof to make the drawing pop.
