Arms-Crossed Garfield Looking Unimpressed

Coloring guide
This one is for kids who love Garfield's lazy attitude. He stands upright on two feet with a smug, sleepy grin and half-closed eyes. His arms are folded over his round belly, and those big oval eyes with heavy lids give him his famous unimpressed look. Whiskers, pointed ears, and the stripes on his head, back and curled tail are all in thick black lines. Under his large feet there's just a small ground shadow and nothing else, so the focus stays on him. Clear lines and roomy white spaces work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Try classic orange for the body, darker orange or brown for stripes, and pale cream for the muzzle and belly. It's free to print or download. Looking for more? A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- tangerine orange
- soft pink
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big head, round belly, and both arms with tangerine orange, leaving the eye whites and the eyelid area white.
- 2Color the fluffy tail, the back legs, and the large front paw in tangerine orange.
- 3Add tangerine orange to the ear tufts, the cheeks, and the striped fur on the back, keeping the stripes as bold and light as you like.
- 4Color the small nose in soft pink so it stands out on the orange face.
- 5Optional: Use a slightly deeper tangerine orange in small strokes near the belly, legs, and under the paws to add a bit of depth.
