Snow Globe With Snowy Pine Tree and Snowflakes

Snow Globe With Snowy Pine Tree and Snowflakes coloring page

Coloring guide

A round glass globe holds a single three-tiered pine tree with a dark, solid trunk. Each layer of the tree has a wavy, scalloped bottom edge and is dotted with little speckles that look like snow. Eight simple snowflakes, each drawn as a few crossing lines, float around the tree inside the globe. The globe sits on a slanted base filled with diagonal stripes. The lines are clean and the shapes are large, so this one works well for younger kids who are still building pencil control. Try coloring the base in two alternating colors so the stripes pop, then leave the tree tops white or add pale blue shading to make them look frosty. The free printable also makes a nice winter counting activity: have kids find and count all eight snowflakes before they start coloring.
