Snowman and Snowy Cottage Under Falling Snow

A smiling snowman in a tall top hat stands in the lower right corner, wearing a scarf with fringed ends and a long carrot nose. He has two small eyes and three buttons down his round body. Behind him sits a small cottage with a snow-covered roof, a chimney topped with a thick cap of snow, a round attic window, a door, and a side window with three panes. Snow-laden evergreen trees fill the background on both sides, and rolling snowy hills stretch across the foreground. Round snowflakes of many sizes drift through the sky and land on the ground. The large open shapes are easy for small hands to color. Try a cool night palette of deep blues and purples for the sky, then leave the snowflakes white or add a light silver crayon so they stand out. Print it free for a quiet winter afternoon activity at home or in class.
