Winter Snowman I Spy with Fox, Bunny and Bird
Coloring guide
Twig arms stretch out from a smiling snowman at the center of this snowy winter scene. He wears a striped knit hat with a pom-pom and a long fringed scarf, with three buttons down his tummy. At his feet sit a fluffy fox, a little bunny peeking over a snowbank and a small bird perched in the snow. Behind them is a cozy cottage with a snow-covered roof, an arched door, two windows and a curly puff of chimney smoke. On the right stands a decorated Christmas tree with a star on top, round ornaments and beaded garlands, and a wooden sled rests nearby. Snowy pine trees and a fence fill the background. A bright red scarf and hat for the snowman and warm orange for the fox would look great. Print or download this free page for kids and coloring fans of all ages. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the animals: color the fox's head and body orange, leave its ear tips and tail tip cream or white, and color the bunny and its tail tan, with its inner ears blush pink.
- 2Fill the snowman's hat and scarf with bright red, and add the carrot nose in orange, leaving the snowman's face and lower body white.
- 3Color the house walls pale yellow, the door warm brown, the windows and sled runners pale blue, and the chimney brick red, keeping the snowy roof white.
- 4Color the Christmas tree forest green, add red and golden yellow ornaments, and color the star golden yellow, leaving the white garland beads and snow patches untouched.
- 5Finish with the sled in warm brown, the bird in warm brown, and the smoke in light gray, then leave the snowy ground white. Optional: add a few darker shades along the fox's legs and the tree's lower branches for depth.
