Snowmen in a Circle Having a Snowball Fight

A ring of snowmen stands around the edge of a round frame, all facing the middle where lots of small snowballs are scattered. Some snowmen wear tall top hats, some wear little knit caps, and a few have scarves wrapped around their necks. Each one has a carrot nose, a row of dark dots down the front for buttons, and stick arms or mittens held out as if they are tossing snowballs. The snowmen at the top are drawn upside down, so the whole design feels like a spinning pattern. Wavy snowy hills curve along the outer border. Try coloring the hats and scarves in a repeating color pattern, such as red, green, blue, then starting over. Kids can also count the snowballs in the center or the buttons on each snowman. The large open middle is good for light blue shading or a few extra drawn snowflakes.
