Smiling Sonic the Hedgehog Beside a Headband Friend
Coloring guide
On this plain-background page Sonic stands tall with a cheerful smile and a thumbs-up kind of gesture. A smaller friend leans in next to him, wearing a headband and a sleeveless top, with short swept quills and a happy grin while looking off to the side. Sonic's long quills sweep back behind his head, and both characters have big chunky strapped sneakers and cuffed socks that are fun to fill in. With no scenery, kids can add their own sky, grass, or stars. Blue quills and red shoes work for Sonic, and a softer shade on the friend's outfit helps the two stand apart. It's a free printable PDF, so keep a few extra copies around. If you enjoyed this Sonic the Hedgehog page, don't miss our Plants vs. Zombies and Halo coloring pages.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color Sonic's quills, head, body and blue arm with bright blue, leaving his eye whites and white gloves untouched.
- 2Fill Amy's hair, legs and arm parts with bubblegum pink, then add peach skin to Sonic's muzzle, chest and arm.
- 3Color Amy's dress, her front and back shoes, and Sonic's shoes with bright red.
- 4Use slate gray for the shoe soles and Amy's headband, light gray for the shoe shadows, and brick red for Amy's shirt hem and shadows.
- 5Leave the white gloves, socks, shoe stripes, Amy's shirt, eye whites and background white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shade along the edges of Sonic's quills and Amy's hair to make them pop.
