SpongeBob and Squidward Running Away Scared

Squidward and SpongeBob race across the page with wide, frightened eyes and open mouths showing their teeth. Squidward leads on the left, leaning back with his long arms stretched overhead and his big feet kicking up. SpongeBob runs close behind, one fist raised and his brows scrunched in worry. Bold speed lines fill the background, and small sweat drops and puffs of dust float near their feet. A dark shadow stretches along the ground beneath them. The big shapes and thick outlines suit younger kids, while the speed lines give older kids something to shade. Try coloring the background in warm reds and oranges to make the chase feel urgent, then use cool yellows and blues for the characters so they stand out. It's also a fun prompt for talking about emotions and how a scared face looks. Print as many copies as you need for a group.
