Spotted Whale Shark Swimming Upward With Open Mouth

Coloring guide
A large whale shark swims diagonally upward across the page, its wide, flat head near the top right corner and its tail fin at the lower left. The body is covered in round, ring-shaped spots, and a grid of curved lines runs along its back and sides. You can also see small gill slits behind the eye, a triangular dorsal fin, a pointed pectoral fin hanging down in front, and a tall tail fin with a few spots of its own. The spots are big enough for small hands to color in one at a time. Try filling the spots with light yellow or white and coloring the body in deep blue or gray, so the pattern stands out. It also works well for a short lesson on how whale sharks are recognized by their spot patterns. Print as many copies as you need for the whole group.
