Spyro the Skylanders Dragon Standing With Wings Spread
Coloring guide
Here's Spyro, the purple dragon, planted on all four feet and looking straight at you with his wings stretched wide and a determined face. It's from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, and the logo with its little row of element symbols runs across the top. He has big round eyes, a slightly smirking snout, two ridged curving horns, and a smaller spike on top of his head. Lots to color here: scaly legs and sides, a segmented belly plate, claws on every foot, and a ribbed tail curling up on the left. No background is drawn, so kids can invent their own. Purple for the body with golden yellow on the belly, horns and wing membranes is the classic look. Print it free for a screen-free break at home. Love this Skylanders coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big wing panels, both horns and the arm bands: fill them with orange, leaving the thin wing edges white.
- 2Color the head, neck, body, arms, legs and tail with royal purple, including the scaly areas on the chest and sides.
- 3Fill the belly plates, chest plate, tail tip and foot claws with golden yellow, and the tail spikes and right arm band with amber.
- 4Color the logo letters with sky blue and pale blue, then add steel blue, bright red, golden yellow and white to the small spheres under the title.
- 5Keep the eye whites, teeth, white belly spot and the background white. Optional: add a little darker purple along the scale edges for depth.
