Stella the Angry Bird Watching Floating Bubbles

Stella looks up with big eyes and long curled eyelashes at a cluster of soap bubbles above her head. You can spot her by the three feathery plumes on her head, the wide white belly patch and the small dark tail feathers at the back. The bubbles come in many sizes, with a large one on the left, and each has a curved shine mark that looks great left white. The big open shapes on her body are good for little hands, and the bubbles give practice with smooth circles. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big round body and the head feathers with bright red, leaving the eye whites untouched.
- 2Fill the belly patch with cream, keeping its edge neat against the red.
- 3Color the beak pieces orange, going over the tip and the lower part carefully.
- 4Fill all the bubbles with sky blue, leaving the curved white shine marks on the big bubbles empty.
- 5Keep the eye whites and the bubble shine spots white so they pop out.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of red along the lower side of the body for a little depth.
