Jars of Strawberry Jam with Berries and a Wooden Spoon
Coloring guide
Three jars of jam sit on a rustic wooden table, each with a scalloped fabric cover tied on with a twisted string bow. Every label has a little strawberry on it, and the glass is dotted with small round spots. A big jar stands in front between two others, with three whole strawberries piled around it, leafy tops and seeds included. A tiny flower sits near the berries, and a wooden spoon lies in the bottom right corner. Behind the jars you can make out part of a chair and a leafy potted plant. Red and pink crayons are the obvious pick for the jam and berries, and gingham on the fabric lids gives a homemade-kitchen feel. Print the free PDF for a fun afternoon activity. This fits right in with our Strawberry coloring pages — see also Hearts and Cute.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- cream beige
- honey tan
- strawberry red
- bright red
- warm brown
- leaf green
- pale sky blue
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the cream beige on the three jar lids, the cloth covers under them, and the square label panels on the jars, leaving the small flower and the thin glass shine white.
- 2Fill the jar bodies with strawberry red, working around the strawberry labels and leaving the small dots on the glass white.
- 3Color the strawberries with bright red and their green caps and leaves with leaf green.
- 4Paint the wooden table, the spoon, and the planks in honey tan, using warm brown for the shelf behind the jars.
- 5Add leaf green to the plant leaves at the top right and leave the flower and background white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker red lines on the jars and strawberries to suggest shadows.
