Strawberry Milkshake in a Tall Glass With Straw
Coloring guide
A tall milkshake glass stands on a round pedestal base. On top are a big swirl of whipped cream, a whole strawberry with a leafy green top and seed dots, and a striped paper straw sticking out at an angle. The glass has wide vertical panels down the front, plus a wavy line near the rim where the shake meets the glass, so there are lots of separate spaces to fill. The tiny seeds on the berry are good for careful pencil or fine-tip marker work, and the big panels are easy for younger kids. Pink or pale red for the shake, a deep red strawberry with green leaves, and a pastel candy-stripe straw would look great. Print it free for a summer treat theme, a diner-style class activity or a quiet afternoon at home. This fits right in with our Strawberry coloring pages — see also For Girls and For Kids.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- sky blue
- pale blue
- strawberry red
- soft pink
- leaf green
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the strawberry body and its leaves: color the big strawberry shape in strawberry red and the leafy top in leaf green, leaving the seed dots white.
- 2Color the pink band just under the whipped cream on the glass in soft pink, following the wavy edge.
- 3Fill the tall glass body with sky blue on the wider side panels and the center panels, then use pale blue on the rim, the top band and the thick foot at the bottom.
- 4Color the straw with strawberry red on the stripes and keep the white stripes white.
- 5Leave the whipped cream on top white, adding a light touch of pale blue only if you want it to look a bit shaded.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading by pressing a bit harder on one side of the glass and the strawberry to make them look rounder.
