Striped Easter Egg With Big Bow

A large egg stands upright with thick horizontal bands wrapped around it from top to bottom, each band curved slightly to follow the round shape. On the lower right side sits a big bow with two loops at the top, a small square knot in the middle, and two wide ribbon tails that hang down past the bottom of the egg. The outlines are bold and the spaces are roomy, so this one works well for younger kids using chunky crayons or markers. Try coloring the stripes in an alternating pattern, like pink, yellow, pink, yellow, and then pick a single bright color for the bow so it stands out. It is also a nice way to practice counting the stripes or talking about patterns. Print a few copies and let everyone design a different egg.
