Sunset Rock Lookout for Two Warrior Cats
Coloring guide
Two fluffy cats are perched side by side on a grassy rock, mostly turned away from us but glancing back over their shoulders with big, curious eyes. The one on the left has long, shaggy fur and a gentle smile. The one on the right is slimmer, with smoother fur and pointed ears. A long, curled tail sweeps across the front of the picture. Past the rock, rows of pointy pine trees fill the valley, and rolling hills lead to a round sun resting on the horizon under puffy clouds. Grass tufts and small plants fill the bottom corners. All that fur gives kids plenty of lines to follow, and the big open shapes are simple to color in. Warm oranges and pinks look lovely on the sun and sky, and soft grays or ginger suit the cats. - 1Start with the big orange fur of the left cat body and the gray fur of the right cat body and tail, leaving the eye shine and highlights white.
- 2Color the sky with light blue for the top clouds and sky blue for the distant water and hills, then fill the sun with golden yellow.
- 3Fill the pine trees, forest, and bushes in grass green and forest green, adding teal along the lake shore for depth.
- 4Color the rock ground and the grass in warm gray, and add lime green to the small bush on the left.
- 5Add coral pink to the inside of both cat ears and the orange-brown inner ear, then paint the cat faces and muzzles with orange and pale yellow.
- 6Optional: Finish with a few light strokes of darker orange and gray along the fur edges to add some depth.
