Superman Flying Forward With Fists Out and Cape Streaming

Superman soars straight toward the viewer in this front-facing drawing, both fists reaching out ahead of him. His expression is serious, with narrowed eyes and a firm mouth, and a curl of dark hair falls across his forehead. The chest shows the S shield in its diamond shape, and the cape ripples out behind both shoulders, with long pointed ends on the left and right. His arms are drawn with muscle lines, and the large fists give the picture a strong sense of speed and depth. The outlines are bold and the areas are big, so younger kids can color without much trouble. Try solid black or deep brown for the hair, then save the brightest colors for the cape and shield. Older kids might like adding blue sky shading around the figure to show how fast he is flying. This free printable works well for a quiet afternoon or a superhero-themed party.
