Long-Caped Superman Launching Straight Ahead

This bold black-and-white drawing shows Superman coming right at you, both fists clenched at his sides and his knees bent like he just left the ground. His long cape sweeps up and behind him in big, dramatic curves, with solid black shadows tucked into the folds. The famous S shield is on his broad chest, and he wears a belt, trunks, and tall boots. Nothing is drawn behind him, so the figure stands out clearly. Kids can fill in the muscles, the cape and the boots without worrying about scenery. Classic bright blue for the suit, red for the cape and boots, and yellow for the belt and shield look great. Print this free page for a superhero afternoon, quiet time, or a classroom reward. That large cape area is handy for practicing smooth, even coloring. More like this: explore the Superman, Avengers and Iron Man coloring page collections.
