Superman Flying Through the Clouds with Raised Arm

Superman soars diagonally across the page with one arm stretched high above his head and the other fist pulled in close to his side. The chest emblem is clear on his suit, and a long cape trails behind him in big sweeping folds. Streaks of motion lines follow his body to show how fast he is moving. Wavy, puffy clouds fill the background around him, with plenty of open space inside each one. Lines are bold and the shapes are large, so it works well for kids who are still building steady crayon control. Try blue and red for the suit and cape, then use light blues, purples, and grays in the clouds to make a sky that feels like sunrise or sunset. The free printable page also works for a quick lesson on shading muscles.
