Superman Catching a Leaping Armored Foe
Coloring guide
Superman plants his feet wide, one fist clenched at his side, while his other arm reaches up to grab the wrist of an opponent jumping at him. His mouth is open like he's shouting, and the cape streams behind him. The big S shield, his belt and his tall boots with zigzag details are all easy to see. The foe in midair wears a close-fitting suit with a round emblem on the chest, banded straps across his torso and wrapped bands on his leg and arm, with one fist raised high. Without a background, both figures stand out on the white page. A free printable PDF for kids who like action scenes. Blue, red and yellow suit Superman, and green or purple would set the villain apart. This page is part of our Superman coloring pages collection — check out Avengers and Iron Man too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red cape areas of Superman, coloring them bright red and leaving the white edges along the outline.
- 2Fill Superman's suit with sky blue, including his chest, arms, and legs, and leave the white highlights on the chest and knees.
- 3Color the villain's suit forest green, covering his torso, arms, and legs, and keep the light patches on his arm and chest white.
- 4Add golden yellow to the villain's boots, gloves, belt, and helmet, and color Superman's belt and boots in the same way with bright red and golden yellow where shown.
- 5Use peach skin for Superman's face and neck, then add light gray to the villain's visor and slate gray to the boot details.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading in the folds of the cape and the shadows under the arms for more depth.
