Fierce Superman Punching Through a Swarm of Toy Planes

Superman fills the middle of this page in a fierce, mid-air pose. His jaw is clenched, both fists are balled up, and his cape streams out behind him. The big S shield sits on his chest, and he wears a belt, boots and a short curl of hair on his forehead. Four small propeller planes buzz around him, each with a round nose and a little gun on top. Small spark bursts show where shots have hit his shoulder and leg, and a few also burst on the planes. The lines are bold and the shapes are large, so it works well for younger kids. Try a bright blue for the suit and red for the cape, then give each plane its own color so the four are easy to tell apart. You could also ask kids to count the planes and the spark bursts. This free printable is a good fit for a rainy afternoon.
