Superman Standing Tall With Flowing Cape

A muscular Superman stands facing forward with his fists clenched at his sides and a calm, confident smile on his face. The large S shield sits on his chest inside a pentagon shape, and the cape drapes off his shoulders, flaring out at the bottom on both sides. He wears a belt with a round buckle, trunks over his suit, and tall boots with a zigzag pattern along the top edges. His arms and legs show lots of defined muscle lines, which gives older kids plenty of detail to work with. The background is plain white, so the figure is easy to focus on. Try the classic blue, red, and yellow scheme, then use a lighter and darker shade of blue to shade the muscles. This free printable also works well for a lesson on symmetry, since the pose is nearly even on both sides.
