Surprised Monkey Emoji With Curly Tail and Open Mouth

A round-headed monkey stands facing us with wide oval eyes, a tiny nose and a small open mouth that makes it look surprised. The face sits inside a big heart-shaped patch with two curved bumps along the top edge. Round ears on both sides each have a little inner ear shape. A long tail sweeps up the left side and curls at the tip behind the head, while a second curl at the lower left finishes off the swooping outline. One arm rests on the hip at the right. A round belly patch sits in the middle, with two short legs and feet below. The large open areas are easy for small hands to fill in. Try coloring the face patch and belly in a light peach, then using a deeper brown for the head, ears, arms and tail so the shapes stand out. This free printable also works well for talking about feelings, since the open mouth and round eyes are a good starting point for a chat about surprise.
