Teddy Bear on a Wooden Stool Surprised by Phone News
Coloring guide
A teddy bear sits on a small wooden stool holding a cordless phone up in one paw, while the other paw is raised with the palm open as if the bear just heard surprising news. The bear has wide eyes, raised eyebrows and a small round open mouth. It wears a short-sleeved dress with a ruffled collar and a wavy skirt, plus folded-down socks and strap shoes. The ears have fuzzy fur edges, and the stool has four simple legs. The big shapes on the dress, skirt and stool are easy for small hands to color. Try giving the dress a favorite color and adding dots or stripes to the skirt, then talk about who the bear might be calling and what the surprise could be. This free printable also works well for a quick story prompt or a feelings chat about being surprised.
