A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big central lotus flower: color the main bottom and center petals in rose pink, leaving the thin vein lines and the tiny highlights white.
- 2Fill the side and upper petals of the lotus with light pink, including the petals that frame the top of the flower.
- 3Color the inner petal tips and the small stamen area at the center of the bloom in peach, then use peach on the top bud.
- 4Add the teardrop shapes: golden yellow for the two small drops at the top, turquoise blue and sky blue for the drops on the sides and bottom, and salmon coral for the small accents near the edges.
- 5Finish with the green leaf on the right and the orange-tinted bud at the top left, leaving all the other leaves, flowers and background white. Optional: add a light second layer of color on the petals for a softer, shaded look.
