A huge crab stands on a sandy shore with the ocean behind it, and its big round claws take up most of the page. The crab has a wide, grinning face with heavy-lidded eyes and a toothy mouth. Its shell is covered in bumps, small circles and little sparkle stars, and a few tiny shapes sit on top of the shell. Two long antennae curve up and over the head. The pointed legs touch the sand, and a small starfish rests in the lower right corner. Wavy lines mark the water behind the crab. Try coloring the shell in deep purples and blues, then leave the sparkle stars white or fill them with a gold or silver gel pen. The claws have lots of small dashes, so they are good for practicing neat, careful shading. This free printable works well for a rainy afternoon at home or a quiet center time in class.
