Tilted Tattoo Skull with Rose Eyes and Cross-Hatching

Coloring guide
A large skull sits tilted to one side, drawn in bold black ink with plenty of cross-hatching for shading. A rose fills each eye socket, with the petals curling inward, and a third rose with layered petals sits at the bottom right beneath the teeth. Thorny stems curl around the back of the head, and jagged leaves poke out on the left and right sides. The jaw shows a row of pointed teeth, and a few small cracks run across the bone. The rough, sketchy lines suit older kids, teens, and adults who like detail. Try soft reds and pinks for the roses against pale gray or cream bone, then leave the hatched areas darker so the shading still shows. This free printable also works well for a lesson on how line weight creates shadow.
