Thoughtful Man in Profile With Flag and Stars

A man in side profile looks off to the right with his fist resting against his chin. His short hair is filled in solid black, and he wears a suit jacket with a collared shirt and tie. One cuffed sleeve shows at the bottom right. Behind him, a flag with wavy stripes stretches across the right side of the page, and two outlined stars float at the top left, with part of a third star at the edge. Because it's filed under Martin Luther King Jr. Day, this free page works well for a holiday discussion. Try asking kids to color the stripes and stars first, then talk about what the man might be thinking while they finish the jacket and tie.
