Here are three smiling cheerleaders pulling off a stunt together. The girl in the middle stands tall with her arms stretched up, a big fluffy pom-pom in each hand, while her sneakers rest in the hands of two teammates kneeling on the grass beside her. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin on the faces, arms and legs of all three cheerleaders: use peach skin for the top girl and the left girl, and warm tan for the right girl.
- 2Color the skirts and the bottoms of the uniforms in royal blue, and the tops in fire red, leaving the white stripes and trim untouched.
- 3Fill the hair: golden yellow for the left girl's ponytail, chocolate brown for the right girl's curly hair, and auburn brown for the top girl's ponytail and bun, adding coral orange bows.
- 4Color the pom-poms with a mix of royal blue, fire red, rose pink, dusty plum and crimson red, keeping the white highlights on each one.
- 5Add the background: bright green for the grass and hedges, forest green for the darker bushes, tan brown for the football and bench, and charcoal gray for the bench legs.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading to the skin and hair with a slightly darker shade of the same color for more depth.
