Three Pups and a Big Dog on the Couch, Bluey Style
Coloring guide
On the floor in front of a patterned couch, three young pups sit in a row. A much taller grown-up dog on the right leans back with one hand raised, holding a cup. One pup has striped socks, another has a spotted coat and holds up a small can, and the third smiles while holding a tiny toy. Behind them you'll find a houseplant, a window and a diamond-pattern couch back, with wavy lines along the bottom. The adult dog has big shapes that are easy to color, while the pups' spots give smaller hands some practice. Soft blues and grays work for the dogs, and a bright color would make the can pop. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: fill the wall, the floor and the wall tiles with cream, and color the floor strip at the bottom with golden yellow. Keep the window glass and the eye whites white.
- 2Color the wooden pillars, the bench back and the trim with tan and medium brown, and add a light blue tint to the top window glass.
- 3Fill the big dog's body and arm with sky blue, its chest and cheeks with ice blue, and its head top and ears with navy blue and slate blue. Leave the eye whites white.
- 4Color the left and right pups with periwinkle blue and sky blue, and the middle pup with light orange and burnt orange patches. Keep their eye whites white.
- 5Add leaf green to the plant leaves, mint green to the diamond tiles, and light gray to the cup and the side panel.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade of each color along one side of the shapes to make them look more rounded.
