Thresher Shark With Long Curved Tail Outline

Thresher Shark With Long Curved Tail Outline printable coloring page

Coloring guide

A single shark swims toward the left side of the page, drawn in clean black outlines with plenty of white space inside. The most striking feature is the extremely long upper tail lobe that sweeps up to the top right corner, ending in a thin dark tip. You can also see a tall dorsal fin on the back, a long pectoral fin pointing down, a small lower tail lobe, and a few small fins near the tail. Near the head there are curved gill lines, a small eye, and a slightly open mouth. Try coloring the body in soft blues and grays, then use a darker shade along the long stripe on the side. It also works well for a short lesson on how sharks use their fins and tail. The page is free to print, and the large open shapes are easy for younger kids to fill in.
