Thresher Shark With Long Whip-Like Tail Fin

Coloring guide
A single thresher shark swims toward the right side of the page, drawn in clean outline with no background. Its most striking feature is the very long, curved upper tail lobe that sweeps up and back to the top left corner. The body is smooth and slim, with a small pointed snout, one round eye, a short curved mouth line, and a few gill slits just behind the head. You can also see a tall dorsal fin on top, a large pectoral fin hanging down below, a long side fin, and a small pelvic fin near the tail. The big open spaces are easy for small hands to fill in. Try coloring the back a deep blue or gray and leaving the belly lighter, then talk about how thresher sharks use that long tail to stun small fish. This page is free to print as many times as you like.
