Tom Chasing a Screaming Jerry Across the Page

Tom the cat leaps through the air with both arms stretched out wide, his fingers spread as he reaches for Jerry the mouse. Tom's eyebrows are angled in a determined scowl, his whiskers fly back, and one big foot kicks up behind him with his tail trailing off to the side. Jerry runs just below him with his mouth wide open in a yell, one hand raised and the other flung out, his big round ear and long whiskers showing. The thick outlines and large open areas are easy for younger kids to fill in. Try giving Tom a deep blue-gray coat and Jerry a warm brown one, then talk about how fast and scared each character looks. A free printable like this also works well for a lesson on action poses.
