Twenty Cute Emoji Faces With Different Expressions

Twenty round faces sit in a grid of four rows and five columns, each one drawn with simple outlined circle eyes and a different mood. The top row shows a gentle smile, a small frown, an open happy mouth, a face with its tongue poking out, and a wink. Below that you will find an angry face with slanted brows, a flat straight mouth, a crying face with a single tear, a surprised round mouth, and a laughing face with closed happy eyes. The third row has worried, shocked, grumpy-smiling, and unimpressed faces, plus one with a small x for a mouth. The last row includes squeezed-shut eyes, a sleepy half-lidded look, closed eyes with a tiny mouth, a kissing face, and a blushing smile with round cheeks. Try asking kids to color each face to match its feeling, like warm yellow for happy and soft blue for sad, then name each emotion out loud. It works well as a free printable feelings activity for the classroom.
